Expect Trouble

When one becomes a Christian indwelt by the Holy Spirit, filled with the Spirit and living the life God wants him to live, he can expect some things that didn*t happen to him before. He can expect trouble he didn*t have before. But the God who is all wise and all powerful, who loves him and saved him will bring him through any and all of the troubles. He can expect blessings, love, joy and peace he didn*t have before. And He can expect an unimaginably glorious future which will outweigh by far anything that occurs in this life. The best is yet to be.

1 Peter 4:12: Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

1 Thessalonians 3:3 That no man should be moved by these afflictions for yourselves know that we are appointed thereunto.

Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

2 Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

Psalms 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

Matthew 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Galatians 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, 23 Meekness, temperance against such there is no law.

John 17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

Acts 14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.

Romans 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

John 15:19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.

John 17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
